A New Day

This morning I went for a walk to relieve some stress. While walking I was thinking about things we've seen here. Kazakhstan is a beautiful country. Today is a beautiful, clear day and we can clearly see the snow capped mountains in the distance. Other things we've seen...Soviet style buildings, Soviet era monuments, cracked sidewalks, overgrown playgrounds, beautiful roses, crazy traffic, beautiful people, new construction.

I am praying for you that you meet a wonderful child soon! I know this is very stressful. You know what child will be best for your family-don't allow anyone to put pressure on you. I can tell from your writings that you are both wonderful parents! I have read so many blogs where the parents always say "go with your gut or intuitive sense". This is sage advice! Vonne Barnett

Hello again. Each day or two I go through the Kaz blogs site and catch up on the events and news of the day. I ran across this quote from another blog and thought you may find some comfort in it. I've asked myself if I really need to post such things but my thoughts come back around to, "if I can help lift up a friend, then it's worth a try". So here's the quote from the other blog. Hope you find it helpful.

"As a mother comforts her child, so will I comfort you." Isaiah 66:13
Prayers for you to meet your child very soon!

We too went through some rough times our first few days in Kaz, looking for OUR child. My thoughts are with you that you find the perfect one soon!
