More pictures

Here are a few more pictures of Roman. Right now we call him Roman because that's his name. When we get home, we are thinking of using both names and we will see what happens. We like his given name and we like Nicholas. I thought he might want a new name for his new life or maybe he'll just keep his same name. We thought Nicholas is a nice name and could be a variation of a Russian name.

From our first day of bonding, I'm showing him pictures of our house.

Learning some colors in English.

Building something with Papa.

A couple of action shots, he will be a 'futbol' player for sure, he has a really powerful kick.

So cute! Thanks for sharing. Good job being creative on day 9 of bonding! I'll bet it gets tricky figuring out new things to do each time to keep him engaged. :)

SOunds like you are doing so well with keeping him occupied -- love the idea of the macaroni and drawings. A future marine biologist -- here we come! These pics are fantastic -- he is very good looking!!! Love the intensity of the one of you and him with the colors.
So cute!

Great pics!!
In the beginning we called Quinn..."Quinn Askar" for about 3 weeks. Soon Quinn didn't like the "Askar" and dropped it. He liked Quinn better he told us. We kept Askar as his middle name. Then Quinn decided he didn't want that name at all. So we ended up legally changing his middle name to Caden. You will have to see what Roman does. He looks SO HAPPY!!!!!!! What a journey!

Roman looks like a very well rounded little boy - from concentrating on stacking the cups and looking at the photos to being all boy and loving sports! Cherrish your last few days of bonding and getting to know each other before you have the distrations of home. :-)

I LOVE the picture of him hanging upside down. It looks like it could have been taken in the park right down the street from us and not half way around the world! Enjoy this week...we are still praying for the five of you each day!

Just found your blog. We are adopting from Ukraine. Our friend neighbors adopted from Kaz back in 2006 when we adopted from Russia.
