Dinner on Saturday

My hubby knew someone here that was an intern at his work several years ago so he contacted him when we decided to adopt a child from Kazakhstan. He is so hospitable that he invited us to dinner with his wife and his sister and brother-in-law. They are very young couples. They each have a little girl under the age of 1. If you are looking for a splurge while staying in Almaty, Argento Wine Bar is the place to go. It's walking distance to the Hotel Kazakhstan. It was the best meal we have had so far. It's very pricey though, fortunately, our friend treated us to the meal. It's very close to the Hotel Kazakhstan and you can probably walk there. They also have menus in English. Also should mention we finally tried horse meat there and it was good, if you get past the mental aversion.
