Wasian=Half White, Half Asian

That's what my kids are in case you haven't noticed. Yes, I did give birth to them, they just look more like my husband who is Japanese-American. After I had Olivia, I was sometimes asked where she was from or what country she was from. One woman didn't believe me when I politely said, "Oh, can't you see she has my chin!" She insistently asked where she came from! The nerve! Now that we live in California (at the moment, anyway), I have never been asked. At least Olivia and Claire look like sisters.
