This was taken back in November at Olivia's preschool. The had a Stone Soup Feast..based on the book of the same title. All the kids acted out the story of the soldiers coming to a village to ask for food. The villagers were selfish and hid their food. So the soldiers decided to make stone soup. They put stone in a pot and started cooking. One by one, the villagers decided to add something...celery here, onion, there, etc. So when it was finished they all shared a wonderful bowl of stone soup. It really is a neat story. Afterward, all the parents and children were served stone soup and pumpkin pie. Olivia enjoyed the pumpkin pie and muffins rather than the soup. Claire, on the other hand, ate everything!

The soup and muffins were good, I don't care for pumpkin pie, but I'm sure it was good too.
