Here are some pictures of the progress I've made since my hand surgery. I can't quite make a fist yet and my middle finger is still a little bent. Before surgery, I couldn't bend my middle finger. Here is the splint the hand therapist made for me beginning 2 weeks after surgery when I had my stitches removed. I wore this splint for 4 weeks. It allowed me to do a little more than with the splint I had right after surgery.
It's really unbelievable all you've been through for one "simple" slice. You don't even mention much about the pain part but it much have been awful. I'm glad you're making progress.

Ouch!
That's terrible about the ER doc and not getting the specialist to look at it. Can you get compensated in some way from the hospital?
It sounds like it's been a slow and difficult recovery process, made even more challenging with the kids!
