Nicholas did very well at the dentist and he received an 'A' for taking such good care of his teeth. The dentist saw one spot that he will check again in 6 months. He did great throughout the entire visit and only had difficulty with 2 of the xray for his back teeth.

Gosh, I am so behind! What a cute and handsome boy in the big dentist chair!
Sounds like he is just doing wonderfully! As far as travel, we had Pat's sister's wedding a couple of months after getting home and then the annual trip to his parents. He did much better at Pat's parents house than he did the motel. But, maybe it was just us being more stressed out about noise in the hotel.....he was/is a loud one! ;) We stayed for almost 2 weeks away from home and were very pleased at how he did. I would just say go and keep your options open. We just told everyone that we may have to leave at any time and find a quiet place to reside for a bit. Everyone was very understanding and we just went with our instincts. I wouldn't trade the memories of that first "big trip" for anything but I will say the memories (for us) at the motel were not good. But maybe your daughters can be good role models in how to act in a hotel room! :) Will be anxious to see what you end up doing!
Well done, Nicholas! You look so brave and tough on that chair!
Last summer, my kid and I went for his first dental visit. I almost had to drag him out of the house because he didn't want to go. But when we got to his dentist, Greer, SC clinic and saw all the other kids with little toys from the doctor, he became at ease and quite excited, surprisingly.
After that, on our way home, he told me he wants to become a dentist and study dentistry (Greenville, SC dental college). I think he got fascinated with all the tools that he got to play with after his check up.
Keep smiling with that perfect teeth!
